Since cake plates seemed to turn out so nicely, I decided to try my luck at wrangling some friends over for another easy crafty evening. I fell for this idea right about the same time the cake plates came around, so it seems fitting it's the second attempted project. Cus really how do you mess up stamps?
I have 8oz of green ink, a crapload of various fabric textures from IKEA and enough for real creative ladies coming over that it should be somewhat successful at the very least. And please, if you happen to be downtown, stop by E Street.

oh jane, of course!
Is craft night usually on Tuesdays? Will you make me watch that horrid new 90210 if I come over? (I tried watching it, and you're right. It's terrible.)
Did you read this? http://gofugyourself.celebuzz.com/go_fug_yourself/2008/09/90210_the_fug_class.html
Yeah, I want to know when craft nights are too! Tonight I've been looking up tutorials on making resin jewelry. =)
so bummed I missed this
well THOSE are going to be adorable. Did you get the Yellow Owl stamp sets? The small object also has cute ones, but not in as great of a little set. I want to steal this idea too.
Those look like fun, but I was wondering when are going to the cooking class?
i i eee - craft night has just kind of happened both times...but I can fix it on Tuesday so as to avoid 90210 (though I'm still watching...)
bex - I didn't end up getting that particular stamp set, but we had a great turn out with just the stuff people brought
brittany - I keep watching Whole Foods for a class, but there wasn't anything scheduled for September...I"m still hoping though!
Oh, I was thinking 90210 was on Tuesdays... or er, but really I'm willing to make the new 90210 sacrifice with good company.
Collage night? Anyone? I'm a collage freaky deaky.
Ooh, and paper mache. I've always wanted to try and make a shoddy copy of this artist's beautiful ships:
